InterChange Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that Keith J. VanBenschoten has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective immediately.
“This advancement is reflective of Keith’s aggressive attitude towards growing InterChange through integrity and positive leadership development” said Devon Anders, InterChange President.
Keith will assume responsibility for sales and marketing of third party logistics services in addition to the current operational responsibilities of his former position. Keith has a rich background in materials and facilities management which aids him in understanding InterChange’s customer needs. Keith is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite University and currently serves as the Vice President for Membership of the Blue Ridge Chapter of APICS (Association of Operations Management). He is also an active member of the International Warehouse & Logistics Association (IWLA) Food Security Council.
The additional responsibility for sales is a natural fit with Keith’s business approach, as evidenced by the following observation from a current customer. “I hope you know that InterChange’s competitive advantage with Hershey is highly correlated to customer service. Your actions, Keith, have always epitomized quality service with a high level of accountability – characteristics that have differentiated your business.” said Sonya Bush, Accounting Manager, The Hershey Company – Stuarts Draft, VA.
